Monday Madness has returned to Radio Springfield City, with Paula back in the studio alongside Antoine for a morning full of laughs, local stories, sharp opinions and classic on-air chaos.

After what the pair jokingly described as Paula’s “long service leave” — self-imposed, of course — the much-loved Monday Madness energy was back in full swing.

The episode opened with plenty of banter between Paula and Antoine, including missed messages, accidental ghosting, giant wraps, and the very relatable chaos of busy family life. Paula shared the story of accidentally sending Antoine a message meant for her husband about oversized wraps, sparking a hilarious discussion about text mix-ups and modern communication.

The pair also reflected on their recent role as co-emcees at the Mater Chicks in Pink Springfield event. They praised the community support, with Paula noting the incredible sea of pink and the more than $100,000 raised for the cause. Both agreed the event was a huge success and hoped to be invited back next year — although Antoine may need to work on his Nutbush skills before then.

Listeners also heard about Paula’s busy Easter, complete with family visits, birthday celebrations, and a memorable Easter egg hunt involving boiled eggs that were later discovered in the garden in less-than-ideal condition.

The show then took a more serious turn as Paula shared her thoughts on the Federal Budget. Drawing on her experience as a tax accountant, she discussed proposed changes that could affect small business owners, investors and everyday working families. Paula stressed that the changes were still proposals and encouraged listeners to seek professional advice before making any decisions.
